Advantages:

Extremely simple to setup and use (usually < 5 minutes)

Direct Bluetooth download of data to a Android / iOS smartphones. Pairing is much easier than comparable products.

No SIM card required (and thus no monthly data plan required)

Uses replaceable stock lithium cell button batteries

Comprehensive video tutorials available

Customer service is responsive and helpful
Disadvantages:
- You must get within 30 feet of hive scale to download data (i.e. actual visit to hive scale is required)
- Weight measurements are not quite as accurate if hive is not properly leveled and weight is not evenly distributed.
