A message from Bee Informed Partnership’s executive director
We have a “wonderful problem”. The ”wonderful problem” is that since the start of BIP, we have partnered with honey bee researchers and provided education to thousands of beekeepers: your generosity is having a real impact. Yet data show honey bee health remains an issue. In late June we released results from BIP’s annual Loss and Management Survey which received international attention, including this Associated Press article.
To date, your support has been wonderful and now your support is invaluable – we can solve this problem together. Together, we can continue to create positive transformation in the lives of beekeepers and their bees! Will you please donate to us today?
Thank you once again for your incredible support.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Annette “Net” Meredith
Executive Director
Keep up-to-date with the campaign
Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing stories from the field, the lives of beekeepers and the bees they care for so you – our friends – can engage more with our work.
Let’s start from the top, shall we, with the Queen Bee herself. Queen breeding is an endeavor in and of itself, and BIP works with several queen breeders to test for hygienic behavior to help them select quality bees for breeding.
